Hello! My name is Cindy Cunha. Thank you so much for your interest in life coaching and my work. My career started in the internet industry in the 90’s as what would kind of equate to a User Experience (UX) professional which I enjoyed very much. Today, I’m a Certified Holistic Life, Career, and Executive Coach by the Goal Imagery Institute. Throughout my life, I’ve always been that person friends and family would come to when at a crossroads, need help figuring something out, or someone to listen and understand them. I continuously learn and test new approaches in self development. As a life coach, my passion and talent coaching people in creating the best version of themselves and their life is tremendously rewarding and exciting. I love helping people — it’s what gives me meaning and purpose, and it’s really awesome!
“True belonging is the spiritual practice of believing in and belonging to yourself so deeply that you can share your most authentic self with the world and find sacredness in both being a part of something and standing alone in the wilderness. True belonging doesn’t require you to change who you are; it requires you to be who you are.”~ Brené Brown, Research Professor at the University of Houston, Author, Licensed Master Social Worker, TED Speaker
I chose the name Stealing It Back because my mission and passion is to help you steal back your life from belief systems and predetermined paths that have existed for decades – ones that couldn’t possibly take into consideration who you actually are – and create beautiful, fulfilling, and meaningful lives. You are good enough as you are right now and can make it a priority to focus on what truly matters to you and gives you purpose. Steal back the control with conviction in what you believe and value to reach your full potential, and be brave enough to define and live life on your terms. No matter where you are in life, you can start making changes tomorrow, and in this day and age, the possibilities really are endless.
“It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.”~ Frederick Douglass, Abolitionist, Writer, Orator, and Statesman
Remember to Take the Kids Along
In addition to working with adults, I thoroughly enjoy working with children and teens. What matters to young people – the things they love and find joy in – needs to be fostered and guarded at an early age. Think about the adults you know who have given up on their childhood dreams and are still searching for meaning and purpose right now. What if they were encouraged as children to fall in love and embrace everything about themselves, be independent thinkers, and do the work they were meant to do? With so many amazing resources available, I feel there’s a lack in terms of what’s available for young people and I’m working towards closing that gap. As a coach, I work to ensure young people focus on their passions and to courageously remain on their own path of self discovery and curiosity.
